I’m a journalist and filmmaker based in London.

I have produced, filmed or directed documentaries for major broadcasters including the BBC, Channel 4, Channel 5 and Sky. I trained as a journalist at the BBC, and have experience of going undercover, secret filming and complex investigations. A strong self-shooter, I work on my own documentary shorts alongside this. My work has been picked up by the BBC, Good Morning America, Guardian, Telegraph, Independent, Refinery 29 and others.

In my free time, I program We Are Doc Women Presents, a bi-monthly screening series which focusses on female-directed documentaries. Alongside selecting the films, I host the panel discussions and Q&As.

I have a masters in documentary theory from the Courtauld Institute, studied advance shooting at the NFTS and graduated from Cambridge with a starred first.

Ron Jeremy: Fall of a Porn Icon

For decades, the world’s most famous male porn star, Ron Jeremy, allegedly groped, assaulted and raped women. Yet it wasn’t until June 2020 that he was arrested and charged with 34 sex crimes. This documentary hears from some of his alleged victims, gaining unfettered access behind the scenes of the often secretive adult industry. Has the power has really started to shift away from male-dominated studios in favour of the female performers?

Dangerous Curves: Get Thicc, Get Sick?

Altou is one of thousands of women who have taken Apetamin, an appetite-stimulant promoted as a quick fix for the slim-thicc look. But what many don’t realise is that Apetamin is an unlicensed medicine and the misuse of this “miracle” syrup is causing serious harm – from comas and car crashes to liver failure. I produced and directed this investigation, which prompted an open letter from NHS England and was covered by most major UK publications.

Viral: The 5G Conspiracy Theory

The idea that 5G could have health implications isn’t new. But, thanks to celebrities like Amir Khan, MIA and Eamonn Holmes, it spread further than ever before during lockdown. I filmed new converts to the anti-5G cause, as well as telecoms engineers who have been abused in the streets, police dealing with arson attacks, and activists on both sides.

Dirty Streaming: The Internet's Big Secret

Next time you fall down a YouTube rabbit hole, think about this: all the watching, gaming and gramming we do is as polluting as flying. The internet is using a larger proportion of the world’s energy than ever before and, with the rollout of 5G, it’s set to keep on growing. Film and TV writer Beth Webb goes in search of the internet and discovers that ‘the cloud’ is actually a vast network of energy-guzzling data centres and undersea cables.

The fake baby Instagram adoption scam

When US couples want to adopt a baby they often post ads online and search social media for women pregnant with a child they aren’t planning to keep. Sometimes it works – but there are dangers. One young scammer has tricked countless couples, just for fun, by stealing the identity of a pregnant friend. I discovered her identity and interviewed her, writing a long read and producing a radio show. My original reporting was picked up by Good Morning America and I was interviewed for their segment which led the morning’s show.
